Lessons learned

Cancer changed me in ways I never expected.

It taught me that life is too precious to spend waiting for the “perfect” time. That my health deserves to be a priority, not an afterthought. That rest isn’t weakness, and healing can’t be rushed.

It showed me that I can’t control everything, but I can choose how I respond. It reminded me to be kinder to my body for everything it has carried me through, even on the days I don’t recognise it.

Not everyone will understand what you’ve been through, and that’s okay. The people who matter will stay beside you.

❤️Perhaps the greatest lesson of all is this: it’s never too late to begin again.

Cancer took many things from me, but it also gave me a deeper appreciation for life, a clearer sense of what truly matters, and the courage to build a meaningful second life.

Whatever you’re rebuilding after, I hope you know this: healing isn’t about becoming who you were before. It’s about gently becoming who you’re meant to be next.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. If you’re ready for support, I’d love to hear from you.

Love, Michelle
